THIRTEEN THINGS THAT I LOVE ABOUT CHRISTMAS 1. Christmas Bonus – Everyone is waiting for it! Cash! For gifts, foods, clothes, savings. 2. Christmas Package - Our Company gives Christmas package annually. It is composed of coffee, creamer, chocolates, cookies, chocolates, juices, noodles, ham, among others. 3. Christmas Party – Parties! Get together with friends, company parties, team parties. Lots of parties. 4. Christmas Songs – When September comes in, radio stations start playing those Christmas songs in the air. I always love Christmas songs. Actually, I want to play them all year round. Yes, I still love Silver Bells, Jingle Bells, Silent Night, Holy Night, those classics. Even Deck the Halls! 5. Christmas Decors – Wow! So many lights! Look anywhere, you will just love the sight of houses, buildings, streets with Christmas decors. 6. Christmas Tree – Of course, the Tree. The putting up the star at the top of the tree. Actually, our Christmas tree is not yet standing there at the corner of our house. We have to give it our whole day. My son loves our tree... 7. Kris Kringle – Yes. This is exciting, right? Something sweet. Something flexible. Something useful. You will come up with many wacky, funny ideas during the daily or weekly theme. 8. Christmas Gifts – Tons of little gifts or big gifts! Who does not love opening those! 9. Noche Buena – it is actually the Christmas Dinner. Before, I always look forward to it. I still do now but not much because I am big now and I am the one to prepare for it.LOL! 10. Midnight Mass – Before, starting December 16, I tried to wake up early in the morning for the Misa de Gallo. But due to demands of the job and being a working Mom, I sure hope to take the mass on the 24th. It has always been a solemn and touching one. 11. Puto Bumbong and Bibingka – Actually these are sort of rice cakes. The bibingka is round and colored yellow that can be topped with red eggs and cheese- yummy! The Puto bumbong is wrapped in banana leaf and colored purple. These are real yummy. You can add butter, sugar and shredded coconut flesh. Before, you can only see it beside churches during the night masses. Now, you can see it everywhere. 12. Christmas Air – This is one of my favorite also! The smell of the Christmas air. The coldness of the air. Hmmmnnn. 13. Christ’s Birth – It is a time to remember that God is good all the time! Giving us his only son! Links to other Thursday Thirteens! 1.
