Okay, okay, I am not a good cook. It makes me a bad mother? My son was asking for “Toyo rice” in time for lunch time but I cannot give him any. Besides that the ref is not yet filled with those meats just after the Holy Week. What did I do instead? Nah, I would not like to humiliate myself here and let fingers point at me. I will just prepare our clothes so that we can go out to the mall. It is my rest day. I have not done my routine of washing clothes…you see I have been writing…LOL!
Really, now! I know I have to start somewhere to get my son to eat normal meals and let him join us at meal times. Actually, I have read about the “mango trick”, or let us say, “dessert trick”. It says there that sometimes you really have to be cruel by disciplining your kids to go to the table. That means to the point of letting them starve until they have no choice but to eat what is served if they wanted that favorite dessert of them as a reward. Sound interesting but hard. I’d rather let my son drinks all the milk he wants rather than letting him starve to make him take in those rice, meats, fish and vegetables. As my husband believes, there is a time for everything and our child will eventually learn and embrace dining time. I just hope that will be soon enough!
